As a result of legislative requirements around audit independence, from 1 July 2022, McGregor West separated its audit business from its advisory and compliance business.
Ryan O’Shea leads Audit.able, a team of experienced auditors, which provides true independence in auditing.
All audit referrals will be handled by Ryan O’Shea and the Audit.able team.
The Audit.able team performs internal audits and due diligence reviews for:
- Solicitor, real estate and conveyancer trust accounts
- Banks and Australian financial services licensees
- Proprietary limited companies (including foreign controlled entities)
- Not-for-profit organisations
- SMSFs
McGregor West is not licensed under the Corporations Act 2001 to provide financial product advice. Any personal superannuation advice which requires a Statement of Advice is referred to licensed AFSL advisors.
